We are a group of volunteers working nationwide to protect your right to give at
work to the charities of your own choice and not those dictated to you by United Way. We are organized as an
IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation to which tax-deductible contributions may be made. We have no
paid staff. Our office space and administration is provided pro bono. Contributions go 100 percent to our
programs.
Our Programs
We identify and publicize United Ways that subvert employee freedom of choice in workplace giving. We do so to warn the giving public to stay away from them.
We identify and praise United Ways that DO support employee freedom of choice in workplace giving. We do so to encourage the giving public to support them.
We provide a public forum on this web site where people can post comments anonymously about their experiences with the United Way or ask questions about how to deal with United Way unfair or discriminatory treatment without risking their jobs.
We provide legal aid to employees who have been coerced to give to the United Way or who have been defrauded by the United Way.
We provide technical assistance and consultation to companies, or to individual "change agents" within companies, that wish to wean themselves from closed or restricted United Way systems and offer employee freedom of choice in giving.
Please join us. Submit your comments and questions. Become a change agent. Make a tax-deductible contribution.
